India central bond cotton merchants and Traders Association said that new enquiries from global suppliers began to pour in the past few weeks due to restrictions on production and supply in China. Global buyers are looking for alternative markets, while India has received new enquiries from the United States, Europe and Russia.

An executive at a textile factory in India, vice chairman of the central bond Textile Association, said that China cancelled most of its orders, but they also asked for new clothing from overseas, hoping to achieve it. Some industry insiders say India's manufacturing costs may increase over the next few months due to disruptions in China's textile supply.
