Vietnam Exports To CPTPP Membership Of About $37 Billion.

According to statistics released by the customs and Excise Department of Vietnam, in 2018, Vietnam exported to other members of the "p Pacific comprehensive progress partnership agreement" (ComprehensiveandProgressiveAgreementforTrans-PacificPartnership:CPTPP) amounting to US $36 billion 809 million.

In 2018, the total trade volume between Vietnam and CPTPP countries amounted to 74 billion 478 million US dollars, accounting for 15.5% of Vietnam's total trade volume, of which 37 billion 669 million US dollars were imported.

Japan is Vietnam's largest trading partner, with a trade volume of US $37 billion 862 million, accounting for 51% of the total trade volume of all CPTPP countries and Vietnam, of which Vietnam exports to US $18 billion 851 million.

In 2018, Vietnam and CPTPP countries, such as Canada, Chile, Mexico, Australia and Peru, enjoyed a favorable balance of trade.
