Textile industry is an important labor-intensive industry in Fujian province.

Influenced by many factors such as the impact of the international financial crisis and the appreciation of the renminbi, the rising cost of production factors and the tight liquidity, the production and operation of textile enterprises in Fujian province has been more difficult since 2008.
