A variety of buttons can be used in changing styles. Designers must design the center line, the highest and the waist position as far as possible according to the style.

Eye position is the most important thing.

It should be marked on the horizontal line at the base point of the refutation line (the refutation line is over X).

Waist buttons are also important. They are often located above the waist line and also below the waistline.

In the connecting coat, there is only one button (connecting double buttons), which is always located at 2cm above the waist line to prevent the barge from arching.

Most of the current styles are middle buttons or lowest buttons, while in traditional style, narrow buttons are often used in high gear.

Two button buckle is more convenient, buttonhole spacing depends on the style, the general eye spacing is at least 6cm (sometimes less), at most 1.5cm (usually 9~10cm).

In the single breasted style,

Button

The distance from the buttonhole to the corresponding edge is theoretically equal or basically equal.

This is especially suitable for the style of 2~3cm, because buttons are meant to be on the front midline.

In fact, the grommet is usually very close to the stop line, about 1~2cm, and buttons are often sewn on the side of the mouth (preferably in the fold door), and sometimes move outwards or outwards to adjust the tightness of the garment.

In this way, we do not have to move the distance from the front midline (such as the high new suit jacket).

In the double breasted style, the distance between the double buttons and the front midline is mainly determined by the width of the width of the door.

This style usually has a wide barge head, and the new position is lower or higher than the waist line.

The distance between the two rows of buttons is closer to the front middle line, usually 6~8cm (the distance between buttons is 10~11cm). For the traditional style with low head and low position, the distance is usually 9cm or even 10cm (and the distance between buttons is 14~15cm).

When designing buttons and buttonholes for double breasted suit jackets, on the front of the buttons.

Buttonhole

Usually, the position is marked at 1~2cm from the edge of the mouth. Then, for the sake of sewing convenience, measure the distance from the front midline on the opposite side, and determine the second new line of position (of course, there is no buttonhole) on this line.

On the bottom, a single row of buttonholes is usually closer to the opening than the inner measured button, so that the lower gate stays at the right place.
