Shanghai International Auto Show Luxury Car Brand Volvo, Donghua's Fries Student Fashion Works

The design works of Raffles students in Donghua have been recognized by many famous companies and brands both at home and abroad. At the fourteen Shanghai motor show, the works of Zhu Yi, a graduate of fashion design department of our institute, were favored again and became the designated uniform design for Volvo booth. The 5 sets of clothing designed by Zhu Yi for Volvo show the Volvo temperament of fashion and nature under the deduction of car models, so that brands and audiences can brighten up.

Zhu Yi is a graduate of fashion design at Raffles School of international design, Donghua University. Her graduation works were also well received in the 2011 Raffles graduation show Raffles Privato. During his three years of learning in Donghua raffles, Zhu Yi gradually formed her own design concept. She always adheres to the idea of fashionable plus art and insists that fashion is to display every soul characteristic in the extension stage and works with fabric. Zhu Yi's works are recognized by teachers as "elegant but not vulgar", sometimes with a little bit hot and spicy. She also won the three prize of MaGiC Environmental Design Contest 2009, "turning waste into treasure".

When the opportunity came, Zhu Yi was fully prepared. When the teacher of East China Raffles gave her an opportunity to participate in the design of the Volvo auto show uniform design, she stood out among the many designers. At the first time, the discerning customer recognized that her work was the final model uniform. Zhu Yi chooses the design theme of "nature" and "environmental protection" to match the theme of "Moving the World" at the Volvo auto show. She chose the concept of natural silk to echo the "nature". The blue and white printing symbolizes the identity of Volvo as a Swiss brand. The accessories are bold in using the red and Huang Liang belt to brighten up the style, but the overall style is casual. On more and more occasions, the design works of Raffles students in Donghua have brought infinite surprises.
