General Aviation Development In Aviation Industry

In December 2nd, at the development forum of the 2010 aircraft manufacturing industry, Gao Yuanyang, assistant director of the people's Government of Weinan city of Shaanxi province and director of the Management Committee of Weinan General Aviation Industry Development Zone, said that China's navigation industry is the only industry that has not opened up for 30 years since reform and opening up. Compared with the United States, Canada, Brazil and other countries, there is a big gap, and the development of general aviation is enormous.

general aviation

It refers to aviation activities other than military, police, customs flying and public air pport.

Compared with commercial aviation, the general aviation market is bigger, widely used in public affairs, private use, aviation sports, agriculture, forestry, tourism, emergency rescue and so on.

General aviation products include business aircraft, light machines, helicopters, sports aircraft and so on, and formed a large peripheral and ground product cluster, long industrial chain.

Gao Yuanyang believes that in the United States, the proportion of general aviation is far greater than that of general aviation.

Commercial aviation

It is the foundation of the whole aviation industry.

In China, although commercial aviation has been ranked second in the world, China's general aviation has hardly started yet, and its industrial structure is seriously unbalanced.

He said that in the next 5-10 years, the volume of China's general aviation market is expected to reach 10 thousand -2 10000, and currently only about 1000.

Gao Yuanyang said that at present, some local governments are actively planning to seize the opportunities for the development of the general aviation industry.

Industrial capital and investment funds have been paying close attention to this new investment field.

But he did not disclose specific projects.

He said that there are 875 thousand tens of millions of billionaires and 55 thousand billionaires in the mainland of China.

The survey shows that 1/6's billionaire plans to buy private aircraft.

Gao Yuanyang said that China's general aircraft accounted for only 13% of civil aircraft, while the United States reached 97%; China's airport accounted for 46% of the civilian airport, while the United States reached 96%.

But the development needs of general aviation industry

Policy support

Wu Tongshui, director of the General Aviation Committee of the China Aviation Association and President of Civil Aviation University of China, said publicly that most of the general aviation aircraft are flying in low altitude airspace. Low altitude airspace opening is very important for the development of general aviation industry.

To solve the problem of low altitude airspace opening, general aviation is expected to become a "new growth point" in China's economic structural adjustment.
