The price dropped again this week, and the main market, such as China's purchasing power, failed to improve after the price went down.

Because of the availability of acrylonitrile in Asia, retailers have no choice this week, but they can only sharply adjust their prices to get buyers' targets.

CFR the price assessment of acrylonitrile in the Far East has dropped to $2250 / tonne, while the price assessment of CFR in Southeast Asia has dropped to $2300 / tonne.

In China, local production units fell to their acrylonitrile.

In May 26th this year, the European chemical fiber production association (CIRFS) held the 60th anniversary conference of the celebration Association in Brussels. The participants summarized and analyzed the direction of the future production of the European chemical fiber industry and the future efforts in the global market.

1, the advantages of European chemical fiber industry: for the United States and India, the European continent is currently the world's second largest producer and exporter of chemical fibres, with 120 exports and 2 billion euros.

China imports 300 million euros of European chemical fiber annually.

Europe is the first production and export area of propylene fiber and cellulose, and also the largest producer of polypropylene fiber, which is widely used in carpet, technical fabrics and some sportswear, especially non-woven fabrics.

Europe also takes the lead in the innovation of polyamide fibers.

Even in the economic crisis from 2008 to 2009, 85% of the association's members could successfully resist the crisis, mainly on the support of previous profits.

2, the disadvantage of the European chemical fiber industry: in the global competition, the unfavorable factors in Europe are the high cost, especially the instability of raw material market and the current unfavorable situation; second is subject to the mandatory regulations; third, because of the subsidy policy of the United States on cotton, resulting in unfair competition; fourth, the overcapacity of the global chemical fiber makes the competition intensify; finally, the European textile industry is declining.

3, development prospects: according to the association's data, chemical fiber materials account for 65% of the global fiber market in 2010, 33% of cotton and 2% of wool fiber.

The output of global chemical fiber is 54% in China, 11% in Europe, 7% in the United States, 6% in India, 5% in Taiwan, 3% in South Korea and Indonesia, 9% in Japan and 9% in other countries.

In the face of competition, Europe should continue to play its 6 strong points: to strengthen the supervision and management of product quality; to respond quickly to the requirements put forward by contractors and to have flexibility in small quantities of products; Europe has invested 1 billion euros in technological innovation in 5 years, and fiber innovation is mostly derived from new textile products; it should play the role of coordinated regional development, including Turkey and Eastern Europe; implement the means of competition and implement sustainable development strategies.
