The temperature is low in the near future, and the cotton planting will be delayed for about a week. After April 20th, the cotton planting will start one after another.

Dezhou is located in the northwest plain of Shandong Province. It is one of the main cotton producing areas in the country, and its annual cotton planting area is more than 2 million mu.

In normal years, local cotton began to sow in April 15th.

The local temperature is low in spring this year, and it is generally less than 20 C during the day after 15 days.

Due to the time and cost of nutrition bowl seedling raising, most of the rural young adults go out to work, and the number of local seedling pplanting is very small, and over 95% of them are covered by plastic film.

According to the Dezhou Cotton Association survey, Xiajin county is highly suitable for planting cotton because of its high topography and good soil quality. The cotton field area is basically the same as last year. The cotton fields in other counties and cities decreased by more than 20%.
