Indonesian footwear manufacturers set up in Indonesia

The association Aprisindo announced that domestic shoe manufacturers received additional orders worth $360 million, which came from 6 major international footwear brands.


The six main international footwear brands are the Nike and New Balance, the Lacoste of France, the MIZUNO of Japan (Mizuno), and the Adidas group of Germany.

The future order is given to Indonesian shoemaking enterprises because the quality of Indonesian products is guaranteed.


According to Marga Singgih, leader of the Indonesian Footwear Association (Aprisindo), international buyers found that the quality of Indonesian shoes is much better than that of Vietnamese and Chinese made shoes.


The World Cup tournament will be held in South Africa later this month, and the demand for shoes will expand further.

Almost 70% of championship sports shoes are delivered in Indonesia.


In addition, the world's major procurement countries taxed Vietnamese and Chinese shoes, and also provided assistance to Indonesian shoe manufacturers.
