How To Repair Leather Clothing

There are defects in old leather clothing, especially with sheepskin garment leather. Because of its loose tissue structure, it is neither wearable nor resistant to cutting. It is easy to wear and tear.

      1.绒毛外露的光面磨擦伤： 皮衣磨擦致伤后绒毛外露属于浅表伤残，主要出现在经常磨擦的部位，如袖口、袖肘、领口、前胸、棱边和下摆边沿部位。补伤时，可以用画笔或油画刷蘸少许色膏和优质补伤剂混合的补伤浆进行补伤。

      2.绒毛外露的破口补伤： 这一类伤残属于深伤残，一般是由尖利器所致，伤残的修补方法如下；先挑选一块薄而柔软的皮革，用细砂布打磨肉面并把陈旧弄脏的绒毛打掉，然后剪下与伤口形状相同，宽约15毫米并略多于伤口的皮条，再用同样的方法轻轻打磨伤口内侧约10毫米深度，将剪好的皮条放入伤口内部，使伤口内部的形状吻合，在两层肉面相贴的部位涂上无色优质补伤剂，将伤口尽可能靠拢并恢复原样，静放2小时左右，用电吹风吹干后，再用电熨斗熨压平整，并使两层皮革肉面对肉面贴紧粘牢。
