Table Manners For Foreign Guests Should Not Be Ignored.
The Chinese have always attached importance to the "seat number". In the book of rites, it is said that "heaven and earth are everywhere", that is, everything in the universe has its place. For a person, the different positions between the human body and the upper, lower, front and rear sides reflect different identities, status and ranks. It is related to the affirmation of a certain society or a group to a person's value, which is the embodiment of his personal value as well as the social respect for his personal status.
China is a great country with ceremonies and ceremonies. When people eat, they respect the guests. Two respecting the elderly, the upper seat is usually given to the guests or the elderly. In fact, in order to avoid being unhappy at the time when the foreign guests are sitting on the wrong seat, a grand banquet can place a seat card in advance before each dining table seat. The invitation card is marked with the table number of the banquet, or imported by the marshal, or holding a Cambodian map, and it is not easy to travel wrong.
When entertaining foreign guests, we must make it clear that we should not eat for eating, but more importantly, we should express our respect for foreign guests and create an atmosphere conducive to further exchanges between the guests and the host. Therefore, we must not underestimate the arrangement of meals, arrange the work, consider incompleteness, improper arrangement of seats, and make the parties unhappy. The so-called "diplomacy is no small matter", even in the dining table, we should also pay more attention and careful arrangement to show respect for foreign guests as host.
