In November 6, 2008, the China Leather Association organized an expert group to conduct a field inspection of Liaoning Tong Er Bao.

The head of the group of experts, Li Yuzhong, vice chairman of China Leather Association, Qi Xiaoxia, deputy director of the national leather products supervision and inspection center, Secretary General Zhao Liguo of the National Standardization Technical Committee, Gao Luguang, Secretary General of Shandong Leather Industry Association, Yang Hanxue, director of China Leather Association fur Specialized Committee.

On the basis of summing up the characteristics of the leather industry in the 2000 to 2007, this assessment has injected new elements into the work of cultivating the industry featured areas in the new era, and further implemented the work of Scientific Outlook on Development, energy saving and emission reduction, building an environment-friendly society, and promoting industrial restructuring in the new era.

During the inspection, the expert group held a symposium with the leaders of the Tong Er Bao Special Economic Zone Management Committee, the people's Government of Tong Er Bao and the representatives of the enterprises, and listened to the report of Li Shangjun, deputy mayor of Tong Er Bao Town, about the development status and development planning of fur and leather industry in Tong Er Bao area.

After the symposium, the expert group inspected the fur and leather backbone enterprises of the seven cities of the lighthouse, such as the Ding Diya garment factory, the lighthouse City, the Liaoyang crane leather factory, the Bora fur Co. Ltd., and the Chuang Feng fur and leather products Co., Ltd.

Subsequently, the expert group also visited the two phase of Tong Er Bao, China fur coat city.

Through listening, seeing, checking, and discussing four aspects, the production situation, environmental protection facilities, product quality and design and development of Tong Er Bao fur and leather industry were carefully investigated, and bottlenecks in the development of fur and leather industry in Tong Er Bao were explored.

Tong Er Bao's leather industry started earlier (in the early 80s of last century), and fur industry rose again in 1996. After years of development, the fur and leather industry of Tong Er Bao has taken on a new look of "complete industrial chain, doubled production enterprises and prosperous market".

Tong Er Bao has 650 leather manufacturing enterprises and more than 180 fur production enterprises, of which 200 enterprises have their own brands.

In addition, there are 6 nitrite dyed enterprises in Tong Er Bao, and the annual dyeing capacity is 20 million.

After the examination, the expert group unanimously suggested that Tong Er Bao should gradually establish and improve the quality supervision and testing center, product research and development center, personnel training center, logistics center, trade CITIC and information center of fur and leather industry.

Tong Er Bao attaches great importance to the publicity of fur and leather industry, and regularly publicize advertisements by means of broadcasting and TV pmission channels, so as to enhance the popularity and reputation of Tong Er Bao fur and leather industry.

In from November 22nd to 25th this year, Tong Er Bao will continue to hold the sixth Tong Er Bao Chinese fur and leather festival to promote the development of tourism shopping industry in Tong Er Bao area and further expand the popularity of Tong Er Bao.
