Reporters learned from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of civil affairs today: 8 enterprises and 4 individuals in Zhejiang Province won the 2008 annual "China Charity Award" in Beijing.

The Zhejiang enterprises that won the "China Charity Award" are: Zhongtian Construction Group Co., Ltd., YOUNGOR group Limited by Share Ltd, Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd., CHINT group Limited by Share Ltd, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Company Limited, Hangzhou bank convergence, Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co., Ltd., Semir Group Co., Ltd.

The individuals who won the "China Charity Award" are: Wang Zhentao, chairman of AOKANG Group Co., Ltd., President of Refco Group Ltd, President of Refco Group Ltd, Hangzhou Xinfu pharmaceutical company Limited by Share Ltd chairman, Xin Fu, and President of Zhejiang Zhenxiang Group Co., Ltd.

In addition, Xiang Bingyan, Ma Shiyong, Li Gang, Sun Cheng Kan, Bai straight friend, Li Zhaodong and Wu Xishun were awarded the honorary title of "national excellent charitable worker".

Sun Jiaxian, President of the Provincial Charity Federation, and Lu Songting, President of the Red Cross Society of China, won the "China charitable contribution award".

The "China Charity Award" is sponsored by the Ministry of civil affairs of China. It is the highest official award of the state in the field of charity. It is evaluated once a year and has 5 awards.
